Installing the web app
The web app is the full Vision Alerts platform in your browser — same signals, same push notifications. There is nothing to download from a store: you add it to your home screen, and from then on it opens fullscreen with its own icon, just like a native app.
iPhone & iPad — Safari
- 1Open vision-alerts.app/login in Safari and sign in.
- 2Tap the Share button in the bottom toolbar (the square with the arrow pointing up).
- 3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- 4Tap Add. The Vision Alerts icon now sits on your home screen. Open it from there so push notifications can reach you.
Android — Chrome
- 1Open vision-alerts.app/login in Chrome and sign in.
- 2Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right corner.
- 3Tap Install app (on some devices it is called Add to Home screen) and confirm.
Desktop — Chrome or Edge
- 1Open vision-alerts.app/login and sign in.
- 2Click the install icon on the right-hand side of the address bar (a small screen with an arrow).
- 3Click Install. Vision Alerts opens in its own window and stays in your taskbar or dock.
Good to know
- Always the same email. Use the address from your checkout, otherwise your subscription cannot be matched to your account.
- Up to 2 active devices at the same time — for example your phone and your desktop.
- Turn on notifications after your first sign-in. Without them a signal only appears once you open the app.
